great weather again today (don't mean to brag, just glad spring is here!)

woke up late so only took the 5mile route.

Biking makes you notice things you never would if you were in a car. In San Jose people pile their yard clippings and such in the street and the city comes by and picks it up. Today I saw a pile of yard clippings with a cardboard sign on it that said "FREE". I thought about taking them, but they wouldn't fit in my trunk bag.

I also say a dude mowing his lawn with a cast on one foot and crutches. Push lawnmower 6 inches, hobble 6 inches, rinse repeat. That's going to take him all day. If I had a broken leg and the lawn needed to be mowed, I'd find some way to trick my friends into doing it while I drink a beer and "supervise".

anyway, was a good ride....counting the minutes 'til quittin time.
