MEC has gloves that are both armoured and reflective, which is great for urban riding (but also foils flash photography of freeriding in the woods). I use an oversized pair over fleece liners for the winter. They aren't in the catalogue for 2005-06, so I hope they aren't going out of production. Try MECs ottawa location to see if they still have them.
