yes. I rode a dutch criterium that started in a downpour once...200 starters. Blokes were warming upon rolers behind the start with their girlfriend's holding umbrellas over them. 3 laps in I hit the deck cornering on a section of clinkers, foot went through a crowd control barrier and I loked like a **** trying to get it out, 1 mangled Dura-Ace lever.
Those Dutchies love the rain.......and mangling the 12 cog.
