I ride the same single track, ride the same hills, same roads so I was just wondering whats different in this forum.
I still ride the same hills- but at my pace. If the rest want to get cold at the top of the hill while waiting for me- they can race up it but the faster they go- the longer they wait. Then just as they have cooled down- I ride straight over the top of the hill and they have to catch me.

But learn a few mechanicing skills. Find out what low tyre pressures do to a Young body- or high pressures in mud. Learn about binding brakes. With a bit of knowledge- you can slow down the opposition tremendously.
