When I started riding into work daily, I just brought it in, didn't say anything, and have a nice area to park my bike in my work area. They tried to say something once. I pretty much ignored it. When we got a new store manager she almost tried too, but another manager actually DEFENDED me and I was like "OMG WTF? Thanks!" when she told me that. I guess being a good worker and generally a nice guy helps. And since just about everyone who works there knows I ride in, nobody says anything. I've gone through the cash registers numerous times, even got a pleasant comment on my Arkel Utility Basket one time. Nobody says anything bad.
The 3rd shift door greeters think I'm crazy, though. Especially now that the mornings are getting colder and colder. Doesn't bother me a bit.
I have to say, we don't have a bike rack, though. But overall I think my Wal-Mart (#4499) is an oddball... solely because of me doing it.

Not QUITE an oddball, but in the minority...my store (4231) has 3 people right now that ride in, and it just seems to be 'the way of things' that the bikes come in the door. ONE TIME, a CSM tried to tell me I couldn't, and the cashier behind her said, "He WORKS here! He BUILDS the bikes!" So she quieted down. I helped build that store up, and was part of the grand opening; our original mgmt team for that gave me their blessings to ride, and to bring the bike in. They WANT me on their team, and on their side, and have repeatedly said so.
