Yes, that's exactly what mine look like. The drive side didn't have a retainer. The front had two retainers that both look like the one on the non-drive side of the rear.

I can't think of a reason to repack the front with 21 balls again. There was just a mysterious empty socket in the bearing cage. What gets me is that the rear was missing one too.

Also, that tech document says 20 ball bearings for that assembly. Weird, because the picture displays 24. and I FOUND 23.

Gahh! I'm buying Phils!

So, does anyone see a reason not to repack the bearings with 11 (the number of sockets) in each cage? I'm pretty sure that's how many there would be if they were loose balls.
