Ok, I'm always hesitant to ask if I can bring my road bike just inside a store. If I only need to pick something up quickly, I will usually give it a try. Today, for the first time, I got denied. The manager said no. Does anyone have an opinion on this issue?
I always take my bike in and have never been asked not to.
If they did ask me not to, my reply would be a perfectly polite and sincere, "OK, no problem" and I would go and shop at another store.
Any store that wanted my business would accommodate my bicycle, in my opinion.
