Then:

A) Don't buy the 4k carbon frames.
B) Buy a USA made custom frame.
C) Both A & B.

I currently own 3 frames.

1) CAAD9 Road bike. Material: Al.(My race bike)
2) Ti Cycles Custom Steel Cross frame. Got it in a trade and it works for me.
3) 84 Trek 760 Steel.

All three were handmade in the US.

I didn't do that by choice, but I love all three of the frames.
