I lifted the picture from Mel Pinto's site. He's selling them for $39.95. I'm looking for a RD for my PX10 that has a 52/46/36 triple and a 14X28 freewheel. I'm using a Nouvo Record with a Rally cage now and I'm not happy with the way it shifts. I don't like readjusting after every shift. The Rival will handle it, according to Sutherland's. Has anybody tried this derailer? Will it be an improvement?
I have this derailler on my Scwhinn Hybrid, friction shifting a 7-speed Sachs 14-21 freewheel and a 38-46 double up front. Not the lightest RD around but shifts as smooth as glass with very few hang-ups. This is the earlier, single parallelogram version, but I've seen the later, double P versions on ebay (gulp!) which will index shift better.
P.S. I got mine "good condition" used for $3.
