Saturday OCt 10th....47 miles on the trail. Ran into the Leaky Fountain Boyz at the start. KeithOC's got a new camera so we had a shootout! Headed out to Weir Cyn before heading back to the coast. And a personal thank you to Eyemage for those 20% grades yesterday, the legs just had soooo much fun today!

After a short waterbreak at Edna Park, my eye caught a familiar looking face at the picnic tables. WHoah! It's D4C4C8 and his wife. She finally came out of her zone long enough for me to capture a pic! Everytime I see the couple she's flying down the trail, no time to talk, no time to click a pic, just riding in her zone. So we talk for a bit then she flashes the smile for the camera, purty lady! Mr D4C4C8 better be nice to her!

So we hit the coast and Gretzky shows up on his badarse BMC. I think he's been following me around for a few weeks now, hehe!.. Some talk about racing as I sit and learn some of the tricks from the master. Hmm, I didn't know half the stuff he tolt me. Well next time I race an old lady down the trail, I'll be aware of her tactics. She aint beating me next time honey, I'm on to her tricks now!

Then Greg K shows up then shortly after, Alex. We tried to ride back but the guys were too fast today. Too many Gretzky tales I guess! Gina did fine for most of the ride back but the last 5 miles or so were a little too much at Alex's pace. Them young guys, Sheesh!
