The Nexus doesn't have factory options for disc, there was a German guy making very expensive adapters a few years back. If you're making the ultimate commuter, I'd use the Alfine; factory disc mounting and much better sealing, even the 8r35/6 isn't as well sealed as the Alfine. The Nexus non-drive side cone doesn't have the XT style labyrinth seal but the Alfine does.
