29F this morning. I used my over boots for the first time this season.

I did have a near miss. We had snow over the weekend which is mostly clear from the road. One short section (25 yards at most) with guard rail on my right and high speed traffic on my left still had some cruddy chunks with ice underneath. I thought I could ride through it but immediately started sliding around. I was able to maintain control, slow down, grab the rail, and walk out of the bad area.
