I have moustache bars on a regular road bike and in my opinion they are great for going short distances and going fast. I run them on my "down town" bike but after 15 miles or so I'm done. Mine are on the wide side which I am sure makes a difference.

I also have some that are similar to what you're looking at but kind of moustache on that Peugeot I am redoing...I'll post a pic of that in a sec.

Ok, I have yet to ride this bike so I cannot speak to the handlebar comfort, but it comes from a French bike and I cannot wait to use them
