Thanks! I've read a bunch of the amazon dot com reviews and Barnes and Noble reviews for Haynes, Zinn and Bicycle Magazine Repair books.

I'm convinced that I want to buy either Haynes or Zinn (or both) sometime soon, for the colored illustrations, if for no other reason. I'm gonna swing by my local Barnes and Noble after work some night next week to check them both out "in person".

Thanks so much! I had no idea of where to begin looking, and all the advertizing copy is just so much hyperbole... it's difficult to separate fact from fantasy.
