I wasn't able to find anything on the forum about this;

I have an opportunity to pick up a campy record pista crankset + chainring + bb for about $150 less than new. The crankset is a couple of years old and was used for racing.

Just wanted to get some opinions on whether it's okay to get these or just spend the extra money to get a new set. I haven't tried these cranks before, and wanting to upgrade to them from my sugino messengers, but if they're pretty used up, do they get impacted due to the amount of use over the past few years?
