Bikes: black magic stripper

wells13; so strange, the difference in diameter between the part close to the stem and the part close to where the bar wrap begins is enough that I can't slide the lever all the way towards the center; this is on both the moto track and the kilo TT; I know that BD varies their parts from shipment to shipment but this seems pretty crucial; is that lever a black one with no name printed, with smooth conical adjusting dial and the clamp is a somewhat kinda strangely overlapping thing? looking back at your pic, it looks like some kinda tektro lever, can you tell me what model it is? regarding the handlebar alignment; better to trust the actual hardware than the printing on it huh? good policy, gotta check my **** again.

I was able to use the rear brake on the front fork of the moto track with no problems, just removed the inside washer; basically the hexnut sits INSIDE the stem itself, e.g. passes only through the front wall of the stem and not all the way through to the other side using an allen wrench that could reach through the back drilled hole of the front fork in order to tighten through the stem/fork itself; I don't think this is a good permanent solution but there is definitely enough bolt there to hold the brake in place strongly, just seems like some serious braking might possibly snap the brake or something to that effect but otherwise, did not need additional hardware.

where were people ordering the proper length bolt online?
