One of my greatest dangers riding below about 30 degrees is wearing goggles over my much-needed eyeglasses and the latter fogging up from exhaled warm air. My near perfect, cheap solution is to wear plastic safety glasses over the eyeglasses. They are an effective wind screen but are widely opened at the sides to provide great ventilation. The lenses are clear for riding in the dark and I can affix my rearview eyeglass mirror to the rigid earpieces.
