Mine is 6 deg. on my new 26er hardtail. I am considering a bit more...perhaps as much as 12 deg. Bonty and Salsa both offer flatbars with 11-17 deg of sweep back. Word is sweep is pretty important to wrist comfort...wider bars requiring a bit more sweep for comfort. I ride about a 23 inch wide bar...cut mine down a bit as I don't like too wide a bar. Anybody here experience more comfort for XC riding with a bit more backsweep than a standard 3-6 deg mtb bar?
