Here's an update on my F!'s. I've put just over 600 miles on them now. This includes one flat, fast paced century and one hilly century. The rest are commuter miles. I have to say these wheels are great - if you consider the price - they are fantastic. They're still perfectly true and spoke tension is still even and tight. The hubs still spin silky smooth; the rears are perhaps even smoother now that they have some miles. The braking surfaces are nicely machined for quick stops, but I wish they had cut in a wear indicator. They do feel a bit "softer" than some Mavics I've had, noticeable on acceleration from stop, but once up to speed they are every bit as stable. Since they're rated at 180lbs and I'm packing 187lbs at the moment, I do tend to take ruts and bumps with a bit more caution, but so far no issues.

As a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" a part of me is still waiting for them to blow up or fall apart but I just don't see that happening any time soon, unless I cause it by going down. As I mentioned in a previous post the customer service could be better. They never did help me with my cassette spacer question. That issue is now solved and I'm enjoying my purchase. I would recommend these to anyone on a budget looking for a solid set of non-descript wheels.
