I guess I need to look into this forum a more frequently.

It was great to meet Hermes and Velo Diva. I am a bit old-fashioned in that I like to actually meet people when I have the opportunity. Great photos and story and it was my pleasure to have them come along with us.

I was a bit worried that with both of them coming from hilly Northern California that they would be a bit bored with the flat terrain near the coast. I guess I was worried for nothing. I describe rides like the one we took as finding hills in obscure SoCal neighborhoods.

If anyone else is in the area visiting, let me know. I can find decent routes with almost any terrain desired in the area and I can ride at any desired speed -- unless you are fast, then I need to bring a bungee cord.
