I played Torrey Pines right after the South Course reopened from Jones redesign-played the North Course in the am and walked the South right afterwards. I think it was pre-bike riding days though.
I can't imagine 579 watts..........but the red dress and other views were really special!!
We used to live in La Jolla and played Torrey Pines a lot. As a resident in 1994, one could play 18 holes for $24 and the twilight after 4 PM was $8.50. We would show up after work and get 6 to 8 holes in before dark.
579 watts is not very much short term power. That is pretty easy to do and I suspect you do it all the time but do not know it. I need to get mine up to 1200. That is a more challenging.
