I ended up doing the entire metric. I thought I'd bail out early but I just kept waiting for something new to look at but nada. No hills ever came except the one rolling hill near Lake Solano. That was probably the easiest 68 miles I've ever ridden. Physically easy, mentally tough. Just miles and miles of farm lands. I had to play mind tricks with myself to keep going. Great weather though. I'll probably do the family ride next year with my little boy in tow.
