No, we only sell square wheels to the Kiwis. I think 531 has a cracked frame for you. And there's no scamming, only the occasional "Prompting bid" where there's 20 watchers, and they're all waiting for someone else to make the first move. Feel free to email me for my opinion on anything on ebay. I'm just under 800 feedback with my secret buying account, and over 120 with the new selling account, so with nearly 1,000 transactions, I consider myself a bit experienced. That and all those years investigating fraud.
Did I mention I got my BMX through ebay? But I had a friend pick it up in Penrith and pay cash. Secure payment and the right of inspection.
On the subject of ebay, I talked to my dad today, and my brother kindly donated a bunch of gear to my cause. It's funny to hear my dad try to describe the parts:
Him: "Some kind of arms, with gears?"
Me: "Dad, does it say 'Ultegra'".
Him: "Yeah, and there's some kind of hub thing too".
Me: "Um, dad, does it have threads and splines?"
Ultegra crankset with BB maybe? It goes on and on. A hubset, some shifters, bars, stems, seats/seatposts. Most of it is coming surface mail, so it may be several weeks, but worth the wait.
