Yes, old bike pricing varies wildly by geographic area. The last three Peugeots I found cost me a combined total of 10.75. From what I gather, in some areas, that's a couple hundred worth of bikes. It even varies within towns; for example, prices here are far higher in the VCU area than they are on southside.
