Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

You've given me ideas. I have five I call my own, but their purposes overlap, obviously. Maybe I could take one of my racing bikes and turn it into a commuter bike and thus give up my commuter bike. Or something.

My current justification for collecting too many bikes is that those that don't make money are lessons for me. I'm always learning, and that, by itself, has value.

I am your size, flammenwurfer, and I find I can ride nearly any bike. I can even ride a 25" frame, though not comfortably. My personal bikes range in size from 21" (54cm) to 23" (58 cm). They're all comfortable.

I'm up to about 35 bikes. I have GOT to stop buying. I have to spend more energy fixing and selling.
