Thanks for the lesson in correct names. I ride a lot, just never cared about stuff like that until recently. It's kinda addicting lol.
You can see from the picture mine are indented not flat. I've been learning that certain traits are not brand specific which makes it that much harder.
I've ridden about 35 miles to 3 bike shops today, and still don't know what it is I still like the bike and plan on fixing it up. The frame is lightweight, only slightly heavier than the new carbon Bianchi I test rode today, and it's comfortable. The Suntour parts work really well too.
Some new non rusty rims, a paint job and some intensive cleaning and I might be happy.

I'm glad you expect a full recovery and that sucks the car was uninsured.
