I am an autobody painter who happens to be a little slow, thanks to our current economy.
While at a high end bike shop last week i over heard a guy asking about getting his bike touched up. I was wondering if any of you would ever consider getting your bike painted? THe color options and designs are limit less. I was thinking this might be a good side biz for me, I know others companys like hot tubes charge $400 + $125 for carbon for just a single color. That seems a little high to me.

So the question i would like to ask the fourm is,
1- have you ever thought about getting one of your bike painted any colors or colors you want? BTW it is possible to save the carbon look or mat the gloss on you original finish.

2- what would you be willing to pay to gett your bike refinished?

other options could included decals as well as custom air brush, but I think there is a bigger market for just simple color refinsh.
any suggestions?
