I would stay away from the Continental Top Touring. I had 2 sidewall blow outs. First was at 800kms and the next was at about 400 kms. The Gator skin seems better but the Specilized Armadillo is a good call

I second that! Last year in France I had my conti had a sidewall tear and when telling another cyclist this on the way home I found the same had happened to him. Most riders are now on Scwhalbe marathon which have a good rep for touring.
