I asked a similar question to this when I first joined and someone wisely said to take pictures of each bike you fix. Then you can always look at them when you want to. That has worked very well for me because a good part of the attachment is looking at a machine--no matter how low end--that once was neglected and is now in top running order. It's sort of a chitty-chitty bang-bang effect, and I enjoy seeing the new rider fall in love with the bike.
