When you're looking at the bike specs, look at the geometry numbers. Specifically the head tube and seat tube angles. Higher numbers usually indicate a triathlon or time trial frame.
The numbers listed for the above mentioned Mercier suggest it's
Aero and
TT in name only. It's a road bike.
