Sure, Joe Bell will charge you $800+ for what appears to be a simple paint job. Or you can spend $100 and get it powdercoated at some local shop.

Can you tell the difference? Hell yes. Are some frames worth the extra time, effort and cost? Absolutely. Are some more appropriate for rattle cans and cheap powder? Of course.

Now, is any frame worth waiting over 5 years for a paint job? I don't think so.
