That is correct... The Sequoia has been replaced by the Secteur as of 2010 in the Specialized lineup. The general idea is that the Secteur is the aluminum version of the carbon framed Roubaix. I've ridden both, as well as the Allez, the aluminum version of the Tarmac (because you can set up the handlebars on the Allez to come pretty close to the Secteur, though the Allez wont have the Zertz inserts on the front fork). You can really notice the smoothness of the Zertz equipped Secteur. It really soaks up the road vibration. It is still a racing bike, but it is meant for the long haul. The Sequoia has a more defined relaxed seating position, and depending how you set up the handlebars, the seating position can be pretty upright. I ended up getting the 2009 Allez Sports Double Comp because the LBS had the 2009 model on sale at the time, and I could not pass on what I was getting for the asking price, specially with the all around 105 group and Mavic wheels. I initially set up the bike for a more relaxed ride by installing a shorter stem, angling the handlebar post back, and angling back the handlebar itself which brought the handlebar upward and closer to my seating position. However, slowly, but surely, as I've continued to ride, I had to set the handlebar back to it's original Allez position. It is still comfortable, but the bike really does beg to be ridden at a fast cadence in an efficient tuck.
