Check pedal to crank arm interface. I had a click and drove me nuts. Removed/reinstalled BB and crank arms. Torqued all to spec. Click still there. I removed the pedals, greased threads, reinstalled and click went away. Basically, check everything and do the cheap/easy things first.
Also I had a "ting" noise when I went over bumps sometimes. Drove me nuts and after many hundreds of miles and asking friends to listen for it, I found the locking lever on the pump would slap against the pump body (simple rubber band took care of that).
