Thanks, pertex looks pretty good, but how does it compare to polyester, nylon, and wool. Does it work well in a elastane/spandex blend?

That's fine. A little blotting of the water on my body would not be a problem when entering a warm dry area. Also, not sure if this is feasible with a fabric, but if I were riding naked I could always towel off.

I have a pair of polyester pants that stay bone dry after being submerged in the bathtub (yup, just ran them under the faucet, the water went straight through, and they remained completely dry to the touch). Problem is that they're not really suitable for underwear (too bulky). 100% polyester
