I see a young woman riding around town with pedals that are plastic cups, like western stirrups for horseback riding. I've spoken to her, and she said they are from South Africa. (which is where she is from) All they amount to is a flattened conical shell that rides atop the pedal. Instant in and out. A little funny looking but no doubt practical. Anyone ever here of these things or something like it?
