I've had my low-tops for almost 2 months now and ride in them regularly.

Pro: Stiff, narrow, padded, comfortable, many positive comments regarding the way they look from strangers

Con: Don't get wet, the cordura takes days to dry and they are not waterproof at all it seems. And trying to flip the pedal around and get in the clips while they're wet is tedious, it's just a big slippery annoying mess (mks pedals w/out those useful tabs other pedals have).

might be my fault: the laces got wrapped around the pedal spindle last week, that sucked

Verdict: I like them, except when it's raining
