Saddle Rail to Saddle Shell Loose

I have a WTB Rocket V saddle on my mountain bike. It's a fairly new mountain bike, but I'm new to mountain biking and have crashed a lot so far But I didn't think that I ever came down hard on the saddle. However I just noticed a problem recently. I hear a popping noise in the saddle whenever I put some extra weight on it, like going over a small bump or something. I've yanked the saddle up and down while off the bike and I've narrowed the problem down. On one side of the saddle where the rail connects to the shell at the front it seems loose. It is still firmly inside the hard plastic "sleeve" or whatever you call it. But when the shell flexes it moves forward at that point a little and I hear a pop when it comes back and contacts the rail. Does that make sense?

Is there anything that can be done about that? Is it serious enough to need a new saddle? Thanks.
