Friday’s weather prediction of sunny-and-60 had my heart a flitter with thoughts of cycling. The boss could see I was distracted and dismissed me early! After changing, loading, picking up my stoker and driving just out of the ‘burbs we were pedaling through bucolic Baltimore County by 4:30 P.M.

Just one of those beautiful afternoons that makes you glad to be alive. We stopped to take photos of a mother and calf – bovine – but of and unknown type (to me) and odd-looking. We also found some friendly horses. Has anyone else noticed that horses love bicycles???? A lot of horses like to run along the fence line as we ride by. These horses walked over to see us as we took photos of the cows from across the road.

Maybe some more agriculturally astute forum readers can identify the cows….
