I have never seen the Crescent Trail without loads of people. I usually try to take the C&O canal when heading down to Gerogetown, because the Crescent trail is so packed with people coming and going.
I know, but it was a different world at 9pm. And I didn't see anyone on the Canal towpath on the stretch where they're side-by-side.
