I'm trying to figure out what type of cold weather gear I'm going to be needing here in western Colorado. More than likely, I wont be riding in temps below 30.

here is what I'm thinking, and please feel free to critique my list:

Booties for shoes.
Leg warmers.(already have)
Leg base layer.
Crew top base layer.
Arm warmers. (already have)
Wind/rain vest.
Jacket.
Long finger gloves.
Something to wear on my head.

I have a question about the base layer. Do you guys wear your cycling shorts underneath, over, or none at all?
