Minor point Starclimber.. I note you paid a five dollar fee to enter the National Park. No cyclists discount.. When I biked through the famous 17 Mile Drive in Carmel Calif. . ( think it was 17?) Cyclists were no charge. Cars something like 20 bucks.?.. Not that I'd turn around and go back without seeing Haleakala .
