I have an old Fuji and need a little help. Its a front derailleur, high-normal, double. When I did a modern indexed derailleur, I ran the outer cage down to the chainring, spaced it with a penny, and voile' it was ok. Where do I start my setup with a high normal? do I tension the cable and set it at the lower ring, or releasse the tension and set up the big ring first? And, clearance from ring? Any help appreciated.
