You can try overhauling it without replacing the freehue, you can blast wd-40/lube in there through the seals of the freehub. I doubt the freehub is actually worn out, just low on lubrication.
That's exactly what they did at the shop. And that's why I think it has more time to go before having to replace. Remember, the bike is only 4 month old.
