Wow! That one is the best of the series so far.
I have driven these roads many times on my way to DV. Driving at 80-90mph on the road to Johannesburg is a lot of fun. Then there's Trona, the obligatory fill-up stop, last gas station before the valley. I always wondered about the town, the industrial buildings are in pretty good shape but the town is clearly a ghost town in the making. All the houses are in such bad condition but you can still see some signs of life. Thanks for sharing so much about it's history and current state.
Can't wait for the next episode. I like the section after the pass into the Panamint Valley. No sign of life there.
