I haven't found any Shimano logos on the latest housing I've bought - and it's come straight out of a Shimano box. The last Shimano housing that I bought with logos was a section of black cable (ultimately used on my Trek 610). That was about a year ago.

I wouldn't know why the most recent batch doesn't have the logos - but they don't. Not at the bike shop I buy it from, anyway.
