Much appreciated. As testament to this site, these answers are the best if not most technical and exacting I have ever heard. And living in Coastal So Cal I have heard some doozies from "Expert" bike shop techs absolutely spouting BS answers that are not even close to sensible.

It's weird, you walk into a shop nowadays with a legitimate question and are looking for dialogue, but you get nothing like that, rather you get declarations of that tech's greatness and offers to clean your pockets out by upgrading you Ti nipples on your spokes or some crap.
