I for one don't mind the weather here nine months out of the year. Late Nov/Early Feb sucks, but mainly because of the darkness. The gray and drizzle does not bother me. Of course summers are AWESOME.

Clifton - Ott tubes? They go into standard light fixtures? Where do you buy them? My wife gets a little SAD in the wintertime and something like this may be good for her.
