My wife has arthritic thumbs. She works them on a small rubber ball often. She manages her XTR shifter pods well so far going on 6 or 7 years There are dozens of arthritis types. The good news is that they all respond well to exercise. No cure, but it maintains functionality and decreases the rate of decline.
