I'm better today. Less pain and arm has more range now. I finally was able to look over my gear and a more closer look at my bike. The bike is ok and I made more minor adjustments. My helmet however has hair line cracks and the safety aspect is compromised. I went yesterday and got another helmet and today no headaches. It's been about a week. Depending how I feel tomorrow I'll probably do a group ride for Saturday. We will see. My girlfriend thinks I should lay off another week but I miss riding already.
It's good to know your healing fast. If it were me and I can still move relatively well I would be on the bike...why? Because the longer you wait the more your conditioning drops off then you have to work longer to get back on track. I would take it easy on the bike for a few days to see how you feel then go back into your regular routine. Obviously if you start to experience some real pain while doing the easy rides then maybe you do need to take another week off.
