I've enjoyed this thread immensely. From expensive bikes to combines to socialized medicine to how much beauty products cost. What fun!
I have 4 bikes. They each have a different function: 1. touring; 2. off-pavement; 3. on-pavement but unloaded; 4. shopping. Each of them is good enough for me to be happy with, but I might have something better if I won the lottery.
I like the story of the guy who won the lottery and spent more on bicycles than automobiles.
My wife thinks I've spent too much money on the bikes I have, but she says it's my business, bless her heart. She did like when I bought her both of her bikes.
Aren't there some Japanese companies in the farm implement business? Opinions?
